Hybrid Skateboarding Park Coming to Cubbon Park
A new skateboarding park is being built in Cubbon Park, Bengaluru.
It will have both street and park skating areas, allowing skaters to practice different tricks.
The park will be open to anyone above the age of five and will offer training and skateboard rentals.
It's being built to give skaters a safe place to practice and to help them become better at skateboarding.
The park is expected to be ready by April or May 2026.
Skateboarders are excited because Karnataka doesn't have many public skate parks right now, and this one will be easy to get to and affordable.
A hybrid skateboarding park is being constructed at Jawahar Bal Bhavan in Cubbon Park, Bengaluru.
The park will combine both 'street' and 'park' skating elements due to space constraints.
It will feature half and quarter pipes, fun boxes, ledges, bowls, snake runs, and street-style elements like rails and stairs.
The facility will be open to anyone above the age of five and can accommodate around 40 skaters at a time.
Construction is expected to begin by the end of this month, with the facility likely to be inaugurated by April or May 2026.
