No-Confidence Motion Against YSRCP MPP

In Visakhapatnam, India, a no-confidence motion was submitted against the Mandal Parishad President (MPP) of Pendurthi, M Nagamani.

The motion was presented by members of the Pendurthi Mandal Parishad Territorial Constituency (MPTC) led by MLA Panchakarla Ramesh Babu.

Nagamani, who was elected as MPP in 2021 representing the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), is accused of not cooperating with development initiatives and failing to bring significant development to the mandal over the past four years.

The MLA stated that the motion was necessary to fulfill the promises made to the people during the election campaign.

Despite having only eight months left in her tenure, the coalition members, which include seven supporting members, aim to replace Nagamani.

The MLA assured that Pendurthi mandal will see substantial development in the coming months under the new leadership.
