Facebook User Booked Over Edited Image of UP Minister
Police in Uttar Pradesh have booked a Facebook user named Kaleem.
He is accused of sharing an edited picture of minister Om Prakash Rajbhar.
The picture placed the minister’s face on a frog’s body.

A local leader from Rajbhar’s political party complained to the police.

Police said sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita were used.

The case was filed late Wednesday following a complaint by Hari Nath Rajbhar, the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party’s Siyar assembly constituency president.
Police said the complaint invoked relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
