Karnataka Extends SC Survey Deadline to June 22
The government of Karnataka is surveying Scheduled Caste (SC) communities to understand their population better.
This information helps with things like deciding who gets spots in schools or jobs.
They had a deadline, but not enough people in Bengaluru participated, so they extended it to June 22.
The goal is to count all 101 SC groups in the state, with around 90% of people participating across Karnataka.
If you are part of an SC community, you can still register online or at local offices.
The Karnataka government extended the SC survey deadline to June 22.
The survey aims to determine the population of 101 Scheduled Caste groups.
Only 46% of Bengaluru's SC population has participated in the survey.
The extension is the third since the survey's launch on May 5.
SC families can register online or at local offices until the new deadline.
