CRPF supports troops' actions during Delhi protests
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has assured its personnel that any actions taken in the line of duty during recent protests in Delhi will be supported.
This comes after allegations of disproportionate force and the use of pellet guns were made against the CRPF and the Rapid Action Force (RAF).
The CRPF has praised the endurance and patience of its personnel and emphasized that any decisions made in the interest of the nation and the force will have their backing.
However, any reckless or unjustified actions will face disciplinary action.
The RAF is currently investigating these allegations, and a formal Court of Inquiry will be conducted if necessary.
The protests, which lasted over a month, were over a leaked NEET examination question paper and ended with the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
