Bank Strike From September 28 to 30 Prompts Customer Advisory

Bank workers’ unions have called a nationwide strike from September 28 to 30.

Some bank branches may therefore be affected during those days.

The State Level Bankers’ Committee is asking people to finish important branch visits before the strike.

People can still use services such as mobile banking, internet banking and digital payments.

ATMs and cash deposit machines are also expected to remain available.

Debit cards, credit cards and payment terminals can be used where accepted.

Banks are preparing to keep digital services working and ATMs supplied with cash.

Updates will be shared through bank websites, text messages and social media.
