BRS Proposes Rohith Vemula Biodiversity Sanctuary in Gachibowli
The BRS party wants the government to protect a 400-acre area near the University of Hyderabad and name it after Rohith Vemula, to honor him on International Day for Biological Diversity.
This land was once meant for the university.
The BRS believes this land should be a sanctuary because the university area is already a rich environment with many different plants and animals.
They want to create a special committee with students, teachers, and other experts to manage the sanctuary.
They also plan to start educational programs to teach people about nature and justice in this area.
BRS wants 400 acres of land near UoH declared a protected sanctuary.
