PRAGATI Speeds Up Mega Projects in India

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a special program called PRAGATI that helps big building projects in India get finished faster.

This program has helped solve problems like getting permission to use land or finding enough money.

For example, in Jammu and Kashmir, a big train project called the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link was stuck for a long time.

But after PRAGATI started helping, it moved forward quickly.

The program also helped finish other important projects like new hospitals and roads.

The Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir said that PRAGATI has been very successful in making sure these projects get done on time.
