Godavari Pushkaralu to be held on Kumbh Mela model
The state government is planning to make the upcoming Godavari Pushkaralu a big event, like the Kumbh Mela.
They are spending a lot of money to make the riverfront better and add new places for people to bathe in the river.
They are also making signs and numbers to help people find their way.
Many new bathing spots, called ghats, are being built, and there will be special areas for important people.
Officials think lots of people will come, so they are making sure everything is ready.
The state government is planning to organize Godavari Pushkaralu on the scale of Kumbh Mela.
A comprehensive plan estimated at Rs 204 crore has been finalized to modernize the riverfront.
New ghats will be constructed at various locations, totaling 24 new ghats with a length of 828 metres.
A total of 102 ghats will be made available for Pushkaralu, nearly three times more than the last festival.
Officials expect more than ten crore pilgrims to attend and are planning arrangements based on ground-level conditions.
