Nagenthran Says TVK Trails in Dharapuram and Madurantakam By-Polls
Nainar Nagenthran, a BJP leader in Tamil Nadu, said TVK was behind in two Assembly by-elections.
The seats he named were Dharapuram and Madurantakam.
He said Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay had been campaigning a lot in those areas.
Nagenthran also criticized the government’s handling of electricity, water, law and order, and other issues.
He said slower growth in GST collections was affecting the state’s economy.
He argued that TVK was too new to compare with the BJP.
He also defended the Election Commission and criticized political arguments over language signs.
These are Nagenthran’s claims; the article does not include a response from TVK.
BJP state president Nainar Nagenthran claimed TVK was trailing in the Dharapuram and Madurantakam by-polls.
He said Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay’s intensive campaigning reflected concern about the party’s prospects.
Nagenthran criticized the government over electricity, water, law and order, drug use, and slower GST collection growth.
He argued that the BJP’s political history could not be compared with that of the newly formed TVK and called TVK a “bubble.”
