Odisha Increases Upper Age Limit for Government Jobs to 42
Odisha has decided to let people up to 42 years old apply for government jobs, instead of the previous limit of 32.
This change helps many people who were too old before.
The government made this change after many requests.
The rules about age limits for government jobs will be updated.
However, this doesn't apply to some jobs like police.
Also, Odisha will develop a new Artificial Intelligence Policy in 2025, which will include AI-assisted healthcare, agriculture, and education.
The Odisha government raised the upper age limit for government job applications from 32 to 42 years.
This decision aims to assist those missing out on jobs due to age constraints.
The change follows requests from different groups.
The revised limit does not apply to uniform services with physical tests.
