Baku Metro Extends Hours for Timberlake Concert, Announces Upgrades
The Baku Metro is changing its schedule for the Justin Timberlake concert.
On July 27th, the metro will stay open until 2 am to help people get to and from the concert.
If you're going to the concert, the closest station is Koroglu, and you should use exits 3 and 4.
Also, the metro is getting upgrades, part of a plan to make the transport system better by 2030.
A company called Yüksel Proje is working on designing new stations and tunnels, as well as improving existing stations.
These changes are meant to improve how many people can use the metro, and make traveling around Baku easier.
Baku Metro will extend operating hours until 2 am on July 27-28 for Justin Timberlake's concert.
Concert attendees are advised to use Exits 3 and 4 of Koroglu station for stadium access.
Baku Metro is undergoing a major modernization, part of a State Program for 2025-2030.
Yüksel Proje, a subsidiary of AZCON Holding, has been awarded a ₼35.4 million contract.
Upgrades include new station designs, tunnel construction, and improvements at '28 May' and Icherisheher stations.
