District Collector Bhavesh Mishra Inspects KGBV, Residential Schools in Nizamabad
A very important government officer, called the District Collector, visited some schools in his area.
His name is Bhavesh Mishra.
He went to a girls' residential school and a junior college in Edapalli.
He looked at the classrooms, kitchens, storerooms, and the school grounds.
He was worried because the school grounds were messy and had too many weeds.
He told the workers to clean the campus right away and make sure water doesn't collect there.
He also tasted and checked the lunch being served to the students and said it must be healthy and follow the set menu.
He asked the school to put the menu where everyone can see it at the entrance.
He told workers to fix the water machines and solar heaters that were not working.
He talked to Class 10 students, taught them an English lesson, and gave them gifts while telling them to study hard and make their parents and teachers proud.
District Collector Bhavesh Mishra inspected the Kasturba Gandhi Minority Girls' School (KGBV) and Telangana Residential School/Junior College at Edapalli mandal headquarters on Wednesday.
He expressed concern over unhygienic surroundings and overgrown weeds at the KGBV and directed officials to clean the campus immediately and prevent water stagnation.
Mishra checked the quality of the mid-day meal and instructed staff to serve nutritious food strictly according to the prescribed menu, with the menu displayed prominently at the school entrance.
He ordered repairs to non-functional RO water plants and solar heaters in KGBVs across the district.
