Huge flash floods struck Nepal on Wednesday.

The floods damaged homes, roads, bridges and hydropower projects.

More than 600 people died, and over 2,400 people were still missing.

Nearly 2,500 people were moved to safer places, including 163 foreigners.

People, companies and banks donated more than NPR 2.295 billion to a government relief fund.

The money will help injured people and families who need food and shelter.

Nepal’s Ministry of Finance is organizing the donations.
