OpenAI Launches ChatGPT Ads in India for Free Users

OpenAI is starting to show advertisements inside ChatGPT in India.

This is the first time ChatGPT Ads are being launched in the country.

The ads are sponsored messages, similar to advertisements on other online services.

At first, logged-in adults using the Free or Go plans may see them.

People using Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Education plans will not see ads.

Advertisers can begin with daily budgets starting at Rs 725.

The announcement was made on Thursday.

OpenAI said the ads are being introduced as part of ChatGPT’s launch in India.
