Pushkar to become wedding destination with new resorts
Pushkar, a town famous for its camel fairs, is getting new resorts and shops.
This is because many people from other places come to Pushkar to get married.
The government has approved plans to build these new places so that more people can visit for weddings.
They will build big hotels, farmhouses, and shops.
This will help make Pushkar a popular place for weddings.
Rajasthan's real estate regulator and district authorities approved three schemes to develop wedding infrastructure in Pushkar.
The Wedding Destination City scheme includes 21 resorts, 21 farmhouses, and 42 commercial shops across 44 hectares.
The Brahma Enclave Resort scheme includes 64 resorts and 85 commercial shops spanning 13 hectares.
The Tirthraj Pushkar Farmhouse scheme includes 64 farmhouses and 33 commercial shops on 34 hectares.
Pushkar has become a major destination for weddings, with over 3,000 weddings of people from outside the region held there every year.
