Malkajgiri Chief Orders Swachh Badi in Every Zone, Expedites Toilets
A city official in Malkajgiri wants to make the area cleaner.
His name is Vinay Krishna Reddy, and he is the municipal commissioner.
He asked for one 'Swachh Badi' to be set up in each zone.
A Swachh Badi is a special place that teaches people about keeping things clean.
It will also help manage waste in a way that is friendly to the environment.
He also wants public toilets to be built faster.
These toilets are called 'Aspiration Toilets' and will be clean, safe, and modern for everyone to use.
He wants them to be finished and opened to the public.
He also wants a program called 'Project Udvasana' to run in every circle.
This program must happen at least one day each week, every week.
Malkajgiri municipal commissioner Vinay Krishna Reddy directed the setting up of one 'Swachh Badi' in each zone as a hub for eco-friendly waste management and hygiene awareness.
The commissioner ordered that 'Aspiration Toilets' — clean, safe, and modern public facilities — be completed and made accessible to the public.
The directives were issued while reviewing the progress of the 'Aspiration Toilets' setup.
Officials were instructed to expand 'Project Udvasana' to the circle level.
An action plan is to ensure 'Project Udvasana' is mandatorily conducted one day a week in every circle.
