Revanth Reddy Plans World-Class Cricket Stadium In Future City
Telangana plans to build a very large cricket stadium in Bharat Future City.
The stadium would sit on 100 acres of land.
It could hold more people than the Narendra Modi Stadium in Gujarat.
Officials want it to look like famous grounds such as Lord’s in England and major Australian stadiums.
The foundation stone is expected to be laid in December.
The state government would provide the land, while the Board of Control for Cricket in India would pay for construction and operations under the proposed partnership.
The stadium would be close to major roads, a planned metro extension, and the airport.
The sports complex could also be used for football games, concerts, and other large events.
