India-US Trade Relations Improve Amid Exports Surge
India's exports grew a lot in November, even though the US put high taxes on Indian goods.
This is good news for India because it means they can talk to the US from a stronger position.
The US is one of India's biggest trading partners, and India's exports to the US grew even more than their overall exports.
This shows that India is doing well and can handle the taxes.
The Indian government is not in a hurry to make deals with the US because their economy is strong.
They are waiting for the US to lower the taxes.
The US president said nice things about India and the Indian prime minister, which is good for their relationship.
But they still need to work out their differences to make a trade deal.
India's exports grew by 19% overall and 22% to the US in November, despite high US tariffs.
Total goods exports reached $38.13 billion, the highest for any November in a decade.
India's strong domestic economy and diversification helped exports recover after a slump in September and October.
Electronics exports, particularly smartphones, saw a 38% increase from April to November.
India is maintaining a firm stance in trade talks, refusing to increase imports of US agricultural products like corn or genetically modified crops.
