PCMC Hosts Belgium's Leuven Director for Sustainability Collaboration

The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) in Pune, India, had a special visitor from Belgium named Geert Robberechts.

He is the Director of India House in Leuven, Belgium.

Geert came to Pune to talk about how PCMC and Leuven can work together on important things like making the city more eco-friendly, improving how people move around, and encouraging new ideas.

During his two-day visit, Geert met with important PCMC officials and visited places like the Auto Cluster facility.

They discussed how PCMC is working to make the city better for the environment and how people can use bikes or walk instead of cars for short trips.

Geert was impressed with PCMC's efforts and said Leuven is interested in working together in the future.

This visit is part of a bigger effort that started when PCMC went to a smart city event in Barcelona.
