Manipur's WWII Documentary 'Battlefield' Premieres at IFFI Goa

A new movie from a place called Manipur is going to be shown at a big film festival in India.

This movie, called 'Battlefield,' is about World War II and how it affected Manipur a long time ago.

Many fierce battles happened there.

The film talks to people who lived through it or whose families did.

It shows that while the world remembers some war heroes, the pain and suffering in Manipur from that war are often forgotten.

Making this movie took about ten years, and it uses research to tell the story.

It's a special moment for movies made in Manipur.
