Mumbai Man Posing as BARC Scientist Arrested with Fake IDs, Nuclear Data
Imagine a man who pretended to be a scientist from a very important science center in India called BARC.
He used fake names and had many fake ID cards, like fake passports and special BARC scientist cards.
The police in Mumbai caught him.
They also found maps and papers that might have secret information about nuclear things.
The police think he's been doing this for a long time, even traveling to other countries like Dubai and Tehran with his fake IDs.
They also arrested another man who helped him make all these fake documents and fake passports for him and his brother.
The police are trying to figure out why he did this, if anyone else helped him, and what the secret papers are for.
He was even sent away from Dubai once for pretending to have secret information.
A 60-year-old man, Akhtar Qutubuddin Hussaini Ahmed, was arrested in Mumbai for impersonating a BARC scientist and possessing fake identity documents.
The arrested man used multiple aliases, including Alexander Palmer and Ali Raza Hussain, and possessed fake passports, Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and BARC IDs.
Investigators also recovered 14 maps and papers containing suspected nuclear-related information.
A second man, Munazzil Khan from Jharkhand, was arrested for allegedly creating the forged documents and fake passports for the primary accused and his brother.
Police are investigating the motives behind the fake documents, the potential involvement of more people, and the significance of the recovered nuclear-related data, with past instances of identity fraud and deportation from Dubai noted.
