India to Host Silver-Level Continental Tour Event in 2026

India is going to host a big athletics event called the Silver-Level Continental Tour next year in Bhubaneswar.

This is a step up from the Bronze-Level event they had earlier.

The event will be on August 22 at the Kalinga Stadium.

The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) is also starting a new series called the Indian Athletics Series with 16 events across different cities.

They want more Indian athletes to participate and have made it easier for new athletes to join.

Next year is also important because there are big events like the Asian Games happening.

The AFI is planning how to prepare athletes for these big events.
