Delhi Police Forms STF to Probe Exam Fraud
The Delhi Police has created a special team called the Special Task Force (STF) to investigate exam fraud, like paper leaks.
This comes after many people protested because they were upset about a leak in the NEET exam.
The protesters want the Education Minister to resign.
The STF will look into cheating in many important exams and work to make sure exams are fair.
The team will be led by a high-ranking police officer and will work with lawyers to make sure cases are handled quickly.
Delhi Police forms STF to investigate exam fraud under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024.
Protests led by Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) supporters demand resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
STF will investigate cases related to UPSC, SSC, RRBs, IBPS, NTA, and central government exams.
STF will work closely with prosecuting agencies for speedy prosecution and trial of cases.
Protests have been ongoing since June 2026, primarily at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
