CPI(M) Secretary Alleges Modi-ED-Satheesan Alliance Targets Kerala Party

CPI(M) leader M V Govindan says his party is being unfairly targeted in Kerala.

He named Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Enforcement Directorate and Chief Minister V D Satheesan.

The dispute centers on allegations involving Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited.

The allegations concern Pinarayi Vijayan, his daughter Veena T and her husband P A Mohamed Riyas.

The Kerala government ordered a police inquiry after receiving an Enforcement Directorate report.

Govindan says there is not enough evidence against Vijayan and his family.

He also accused the state government of corruption and restricting criticism.

The government-side inquiry and the CPI(M)'s rejection of the allegations are both part of the dispute.
