Pixel 6a to Get Mandatory Android 16 Update on July 8

Google is making an important update to the Pixel 6a phone to make sure the battery is safe.

This update is called Android 16 and starts on July 8.

It fixes problems with the battery that have caused some phones to have issues.

The update will give the phone new rules for charging, like slowing it down and limiting how much it can charge after it's been used a lot.

Before these changes happen, the phone will tell you.

This is happening because some Pixel 6a phones have had problems with their batteries.
