Naidu Calls for Continuous Skill Training of Government Employees

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu wants government workers to keep learning new skills.

He said training should happen regularly rather than only once.

He asked officials to work with the Indian Institutes of Technology and Indian Institutes of Management.

Workers can also take online courses through the iGOT Karmayogi platform.

The meeting also discussed food centres, drinking water and welfare-hostel facilities.

Naidu told officials to prevent water shortages in cities and villages.

Officials said recent rains had improved water supplies in many towns and cities.

Two municipalities in Rayalaseema still had small shortages.

They said steps were being taken to fix those shortages.
