UAPA Invoked After Baramulla Arms Recovery, House Attached

Police in Baramulla say they stopped a man during a roadside security check.

They say the man tried to run away when he saw the officers.

A pistol, bullets, a phone and two SIM cards were allegedly found with him.

Police later said that two hand grenades were found at his home.

Investigators alleged that he had received weapons from terrorists in 2024.

They also alleged that he gave terrorists shelter and logistical help.

A case was first filed under the Arms Act and later expanded under the UAPA.

These claims are part of the police investigation and will be considered through the legal process.
