National Parks Free Entry Changes
The National Park Service is changing the days when entry is free.
Starting in 2026, free entry will no longer be available on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth.
Instead, free days will include President Donald Trump’s birthday, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day weekend, the 110th Birthday of the National Park Service, Constitution Day, and Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday.
This change affects around 100 national park sites.
The reason for the change is to focus on patriotic fee-free days.
