USA Cricket Team for T20 World Cup 2026

The USA Cricket team has announced its squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup in 2026, which will be held in India and Sri Lanka.

The team is led by Monank Patel, who used to play with Jasprit Bumrah in the Gujarat U-19 team.

Monank moved to the US in 2013 and had to balance his cricket career with running a restaurant business.

The USA team has been improving and now has ODI status, making cricket a viable career choice in the US.

The team includes players from Indian and Pakistani backgrounds, but they all play together for the USA.

The USA team is in Group A with India, Pakistan, Namibia, and the Netherlands.

They had a good performance in the 2024 World Cup, even beating Pakistan and reaching the Super Eight stage.

Some players like Shubham Ranjane, Mohammad Mohsin, and Shehan Jayasuriya could make their international debuts in this tournament.

The team's coach, Pubudu Dassanayake, is confident that the squad is strong and balanced.
