Yogi Highlights Uttar Pradesh Police Reforms, Technology and Law-and-Order Gains

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath spoke about how Uttar Pradesh is trying to make policing stronger.

He said that before 2017, criminals and mafias had too much influence in the state.

He also said the police lacked enough training and proper buildings at that time.

According to him, reforms after 2017 gave the police better organization and technology.

The state now has seven police commissionerates.

More than 14 lakh cameras and district command centres are being used to help prevent and investigate incidents.

The chief minister honored brave police officers and remembered Inspector Sunil Kumar Singh, who died after fighting criminals.

He also launched 87 special vehicles to help enforce traffic rules and reduce road accidents.
