Nationwide Observance of Constitution Day
The Ministry of Panchayati Raj is organizing a big event called Constitution Day on November 26.
This event will happen all over India in places called Panchayati Raj Institutions and Rural Local Bodies.
The main activity is reading the Preamble of the Constitution, which is like the introduction to the rules of our country.
There will also be quizzes, essay competitions, and special gatherings to talk about the Constitution.
Everyone can watch it live on the Ministry's YouTube channel.
The goal is to help people understand and appreciate the Constitution better.
Meanwhile, the Jharkhand Congress is observing the day as 'Samvidhan Bachao Divas' to highlight alleged attacks on the fundamental principles of justice provided by the Indian Constitution.
The Ministry of Panchayati Raj is coordinating nationwide observance of Constitution Day on November 26.
The event includes the Reading of the Preamble led by Secretary Vivek Bharadwaj at 11:00 AM.
Quiz and essay competitions on the theme 'Know Your Constitution' are being organized for all employees.
Panchayats will hold mass readings of the Preamble in local languages, along with discussions and seminars.
A nationwide Constitution Connect – Preamble Reading Relay will run from 10:00 AM to 6:45 PM, with each state and UT joining for a 15-minute segment.
