Uttam Accuses BRS, BJP of False Propaganda on Policies
The Irrigation Minister, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, said that the BRS and BJP are spreading false information about two things: a policy to move some industries out of Hyderabad and some power plants.
He explained that the policy is not new and aims to make Hyderabad cleaner.
The minister also said that the opposition parties are confusing people and making false claims.
He denied allegations of a big scam in power plants and instead said that the previous government made mistakes in building a power plant.
He emphasized that his government is working transparently and not corruptly.
Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy accused BRS and BJP of spreading false propaganda over HILTP and thermal power projects.
The HILTP policy aims to make Hyderabad cleaner by relocating certain industries outside the city.
The policy existed during the previous BRS regime and is not new, according to the minister.
BJP and BRS leaders are alleged to be attacking the policy without understanding its objectives.
The minister dismissed allegations of a ₹50,000-crore scam in power plants and pointed to irregularities in the Bhadradri Kothagudem Power Project during the BRS tenure.
