Government focuses on empowering tribal communities at Adivasi Divas

In Tirupati, India, government leaders talked about helping tribal communities.

Tribal people are groups who have lived in India for a very long time, often in forests and hills.

The leaders want these communities to have better schools, roads and healthcare.

The government is spending about 24 crore rupees to fix up tribal and welfare schools.

They are improving toilets, classrooms, school buildings and drinking water.

Children from tribal areas can get nutritious food and education from the government.

The government also plans to make a building called the Tribal Bhavan nicer.

Roads to faraway villages are being improved so people can get home more easily during the rainy season.

Leaders hope tribal students will study hard and contribute to the country one day.
