AXISCADES Wins ₹100 Crore Defence Order
AXISCADES Technologies, a company based in Bengaluru, has won a big order worth ₹100 crore.
This order is for making special parts for a radar system called LLTR Ashwini, which is made in India.
The parts will help detect things like drones and helicopters.
The order was given by DRDO and BEL, two important Indian organizations.
The company's subsidiary, Mistral Solutions, will make these parts over two years.
This is good for India because it helps make more defence things in India instead of buying from other countries.
The CEO of Mistral said they are happy to support India's efforts to make its own defence equipment.
AXISCADES Technologies' subsidiary, Mistral Solutions, secured a ₹100 crore defence order for the LLTR Ashwini programme.
The order is for supplying advanced Signal and Data Processing Units (SDPU) over a two-year period.
The LLTR Ashwini programme is an indigenous Low-Level Transportable Radar system developed by DRDO and BEL.
The SDPU systems will help detect and track low-flying threats like drones and helicopters.
The order strengthens Mistral's position in the DRDO and BEL pipeline and supports India's defence indigenisation push.
