Juniper Green Energy shares list at 9% premium, below expectations

Juniper Green Energy is a company that builds and runs big solar and wind power projects in India.

To grow, the company decided to sell a small piece of itself to the public for the first time, which is called an IPO.

People could buy shares from July 30 to August 3, 2026, for ₹225 each.

When the shares started trading on the stock market, the price jumped to about ₹245 on the NSE.

That means people who got shares made around 9% more than they paid, like finding extra money on top of what you spent.

The company raised about ₹1,800 crore, which it plans to use to pay off its loans and help its other companies do the same.

Many investors wanted shares, but the news reports disagree on exactly how many times the offer was subscribed.

Some experts say the share price is on the higher side, so it may be better for people who plan to keep the shares for a long time.
