Navi Mumbai Areas Face 16-Hour Water Supply Shutdown
Water will be turned off in several Navi Mumbai areas for 16 hours.
The shutdown is planned from 10 a.m.
Tuesday until 2 a.m.
Wednesday.
Workers will carry out maintenance on the Morbe water supply network.
They will install a water meter and two large valves, as well as do other related work.
Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Turbhe-Sanpada, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli and Airoli are among the affected areas.
Kharghar and Kamothe will also be affected.
Residents are asked to store enough water before the shutdown.
Water may come out at lower pressure on the morning and evening of October 7.
Water supply will be shut from 10 a.m. Tuesday until 2 a.m. Wednesday for maintenance on the Morbe water supply network.
Affected areas include Belapur, Nerul, Vashi, Turbhe-Sanpada, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli and Airoli.
Residents in Kharghar and Kamothe will also face the disruption.
NMMC plans to install a water meter and two butterfly valves, alongside other related work.
