RRTS Boosts Real Estate Investment and Economic Growth
The Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) in India is making people want to invest in properties along its routes.
About 80% of people who use the RRTS think that better connectivity will bring more economic opportunities.
This has led to 66% of users wanting to buy property along the RRTS corridors.
The Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut corridor, which is part of the RRTS, is being built at a cost of over Rs 30,000 crore and will cut travel time between Delhi and Meerut to less than an hour.
People are also more likely to move away from big cities if there are good schools, hospitals, and other facilities near the RRTS.
The government is also very committed to finishing this project, which is making investors and developers excited about the opportunities.
80% of surveyed RRTS users associate improved connectivity with enhanced economic opportunities.
66% of existing users are willing to invest in property along the RRTS corridor.
38% of respondents are open to relocating away from core urban centres if supporting social infrastructure is available.
The Delhi–Ghaziabad–Meerut RRTS corridor, costing over Rs 30,000 crore, will reduce travel time to under an hour.
