Banks Face Four-Day Closure Amid Nationwide Strike and Festival

Banks Face Four-Day Closure Amid Nationwide Strike and Festival

Bank employees plan to stop working across the country on September 11.

They are doing this to ask for several workplace changes.

These include a five-day work week and solutions to pension-related issues.

They also want performance-based incentive schemes.

Customers may have trouble using bank services on the strike day.

Banks are already scheduled to close on the second Saturday and Sunday.

They will also close for the Vinayaka Chavithi festival.

As a result, banks will be closed from September 11 through September 14.
