Andhra Pradesh Plans Growth and Development
The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N. Chandrababu Naidu, has ordered a review of 5.74 lakh acres of land that was given a special status called freehold by the previous government.
He also looked at other important land issues like a list of lands that can't be used, checking land measurements again, and linking caste certificates with Aadhaar.
Officials told him that they have solved many complaints about land, and they are working to make the land records better and more accurate.
They have also removed some lands from the list that can't be used, especially for ex-servicemen and freedom fighters.
Additionally, Naidu directed all departments to extend all online services to people from the next Sankranti festival to increase transparency and people's satisfaction with governance.
He emphasized the use of the Mana Mitra app for virtual services and the expansion of drone services for various applications, including agriculture.
Naidu also directed officials to prepare detailed proposals for the holistic development of Andhra Pradesh’s three regions under the Purvodaya scheme, focusing on irrigation, horticulture expansion, and rural infrastructure.
The state aims to transform 82 clusters into major horticulture hubs and complete 23 major and medium irrigation projects.
Furthermore, Education Minister Nara Lokesh held meetings with global technology leaders in the US to position Andhra Pradesh as a futuristic innovation hub, focusing on AI, quantum computing, semiconductor manufacturing, and green hydrogen.
Infrastructure works in the residential plots allotted to capital region farmers are progressing rapidly and are expected to be completed within a year.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu ordered a review of 5,74,908 acres of assigned land under freehold status.
The review includes examining the 22A prohibited lands list, re-survey process, revenue certificates, and caste verification documents.
