Actor NTR Seeks Delhi HC Action on Defamatory Posts
Actor NTR went to the Delhi High Court because some people were posting mean things about him on social media and online shopping sites.
His lawyer asked the court to make these platforms remove the bad posts.
The court told the platforms to check the posts and take action within three days.
The court also said that in the future, people should try to remove the bad posts directly from the platforms before going to court.
NTR is not the only one doing this; other famous people like actors and spiritual leaders have also asked the court for help with similar problems.
Actor NTR filed a petition in Delhi High Court against defamatory social media posts.
The court instructed implicated platforms to review and take action within three days.
Justice Manmeet Pritam Singh Arora advised complainants to first attempt direct removal of objectionable content.
