Grasim Approves Renewable Energy Asset Consolidation Plan
Grasim Industries, a big company in India, has decided to combine its renewable energy businesses.
They will move the renewable energy part of Essel Mining to Aditya Birla Renewables.
This will make managing the businesses easier and more efficient.
The plan also includes merging some smaller companies into Aditya Birla Renewables.
However, this plan still needs approval from shareholders, creditors, and the government before it can happen.
On the day this was announced, Grasim Industries' stock price went up by 1%.
Grasim Industries' board approved a composite scheme to consolidate renewable energy assets.
Essel Mining's renewable energy assets will be transferred to Aditya Birla Renewables.
