Arattai Introduces End-to-End Encryption for Chats
Arattai, a messaging app, has started using a special kind of security called end-to-end encryption for private chats.
This means only the people talking can read their messages.
Older conversations will be saved but can't be changed.
Everyone has three days to update the app, or they won't be able to send messages.
Soon, group chats and a way to save messages safely will also be encrypted.
Arattai rolls out end-to-end encryption (E2EE) for personal chats
E2EE implemented in new chat windows, older conversations archived and read-only
Three-day grace period for users to update their app before E2EE becomes mandatory
Encrypted group messaging and chat backups coming soon
