Pickleball Growth Accelerates Across Asia, India Up 182%
Pickleball is becoming more popular in Asia.
India saw the number of people using DUPR rise by 182%.
DUPR is a data source connected to pickleball activity.
However, this number does not mean that India has exactly 182% more pickleball players overall.
It measures the growth of DUPR users instead.
The data also cannot directly compare the total number of players in each country.
Still, the increases across Asia were large and consistent.
This suggests that Asia may be an important part of pickleball’s next stage of growth.
India recorded a 182% rise in DUPR users, placing it among global growth leaders.
DUPR data measures growth in users of the platform, not total national pickleball participation.
The figures do not directly show how many pickleball players each country has.
Despite this limitation, increases were described as large and consistent across Asia.
The data points to Asia as an increasingly important region for pickleball’s future growth.
