Sanjoy K. Roy on JLF and his supernatural book
Sanjoy K. Roy is the man behind the Jaipur Literature Festival (JLF).
He recently wrote a book called 'There’s a Ghost in My Room: Living with the Supernatural' about his experiences with ghosts.
His first ghost encounter was when he was five years old in Calcutta.
He saw a dismembered hand with a dagger.
He didn't understand what he saw at the time, but it made him curious about ghosts.
Later, he started the JLF in 2001 with friends.
They chose Jaipur because it's a great place for festivals.
