BRICS is a group that discusses cooperation among its member countries.

He also said members want to use their own national currencies more when trading with one another.
The countries do not yet agree on creating one shared BRICS currency.
Iran’s president also supported using different payment systems and sources of money.
He said this could help countries handle political and financial problems.
The leaders linked these ideas to geopolitical uncertainty and supply-chain disruptions.
