Pune Metro Changes Entry, Exit Rules At Six Stations
Pune expects many people to travel during Anant Chaturdashi.
To help everyone move safely, Pune Metro will change which gates people use at six stations.
Some gates will be only for entering, while others will be only for leaving.
These changes will apply on September 25.
Normal gate rules will return on September 26.
Metro services will run continuously for 41 hours during the festival rush.
Mahatma Phule Mandai station will keep its special barricades and crowd arrangements.
Passengers are asked to follow the signs and cooperate with Metro staff.
Pune Metro will introduce temporary entry and exit changes at six stations on Friday, September 25, for Anant Chaturdashi.
Specific gates will be designated for entry and exit at PCMC, Deccan Gymkhana, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Udyan, SNDT, Garware College and PMC stations.
Regular gate arrangements will resume on Saturday, September 26.
Pune Metro will operate continuously for 41 hours to manage increased demand during Ganesh idol immersion.
Special crowd-control arrangements, including barricades, will continue at Mahatma Phule Mandai Metro station until they are removed.
