Tata Capital, Resona Bank Partner on Japanese Investment in India

Tata Capital, Resona Bank Partner on Japanese Investment in India

Tata Capital and Japan’s Resona Bank have agreed to work together.

Their deal is meant to help Japanese companies do business in India.

Resona Bank’s customers may receive help when exploring or operating in the Indian market.

Japanese businesses are increasingly interested in India for manufacturing, sales, sourcing, and research.

The agreement is not exclusive, so it does not prevent either bank from working with others.

Resona Bank had already committed $20 million to a Tata Capital investment fund.

Tata Capital serves about 8.4 million customers through 1,477 branches.

Resona Holdings, Resona Bank’s parent group, has more than 800 branches and about 500,000 corporate customers.
