Delhi High Court dismisses PIL seeking Parliament security review

Delhi High Court dismisses PIL seeking Parliament security review

Someone asked a judge to help make the Indian Parliament safer.

They reminded everyone about a big attack on Parliament in 2001 and a security problem in 2023.

They wanted the judge to order leaders to check all of Parliament's security, like computers, rules and other safety systems.

The judge said no.

The judge explained that courts do not tell Parliament how to take care of itself.

He said Parliament can look after its own security.

He also said the government should deal with this issue, not the court.

The judge threw the case out.

He said not every idea can become a court case.

So Parliament will keep making its own security choices.
