Andhra Pradesh Assures No Fertilizer Shortage for Kharif 2025
The Andhra Pradesh government says there's enough fertilizer for farmers for the upcoming Kharif season.
They have a plan to supply a lot of fertilizer, including things like Urea and DAP.
Right now, there's a good amount of fertilizer already available in warehouses and shops.
The government is also getting more fertilizer from the central government.
They're encouraging farmers to use new types of fertilizer and to check the price on the bag when they buy it.
If anyone tries to sell fertilizer at the wrong price, they could lose their license.
Agriculture Director Dhilli Rao confirmed no fertilizer shortage in Andhra Pradesh.
A plan is in place to supply 16.76 lakh tonnes of fertilizers for the Kharif-2025 season.
As of June 6, 11.09 lakh tonnes of fertilizers were available to farmers.
The state government is monitoring the supply, including allocations from the Government of India.
Farmers are advised to check MRP and report any price violations.
